Driftwood RV Park Update

Greetings from Driftwood RV Park, at the Port of Brookings-Harbor, Southern Oregon's finest RV Park. Fall has arrived at the Port and the weather is about what you'd expect, for this time of year ... which means the fishing has been GREAT! You can view our webcam feed and see the weather forecst on our website here - Webcam & Weather

On October 1st, a 58-pound King Salmon was caught, right at the mouth of the Checto River. Here's a shot of the monster;

We're planning a few great additions to the RV Park during the coming year. For starters, we're already working on a new Exercise Room for our guests. This should be an exciting and welcome addition for our health-conscious visitors, and we're planning on taking advantage of it ourselves!

In addition to the Exercise Room, we're also considering getting involved in Geochaching, a fun, high-tech, treasure hunting adventure for our GPS equipped guests. This is another great way to get exercise, meet new and interesting people and is suitable for ALL ages. In the coming weeks and months, we'll be posting more information on this great hobby, so check back often!

Steelhead fishing season is rapidly approaching and begins on January 1st. The season ends on March 31st, so make your reservations to stay with us before we're all booked up - Reservations

And that's our update for October. We'll keep you posted on any new and exciting developements that come our way, and when the big steelhead start to appear in the Chetco River, we'll post a few pictures. Feel free to Contact Us at any time for info.
